Transparency is one of our company’s top priorities, ensuring that our clients are always informed and communication remains clear. Now, let’s take a look at our comprehensive eight-step process, from the initial consultation to project completion. And with our expertise in 3D design, we provide clients with an immersive visualization of their future homes, allowing them to better understand the design and make informed decisions throughout the project.

Step 1 - Let’s Talk

During our initial meeting, we'll meet you and listen as you share your project with us. Throughout this discussion, we'll inquire about various aspects of the project, including your aesthetics, budget and desired timeline. Our goal during this encounter is to evaluate whether we're a suitable match for your needs.

Step 2 - The Design Agreement

The design process begins with open discussions, a comprehensive questionnaire, an  exploration of your building site, and visits to our previous projects. In this initial phase we focus on gathering information and listening, understanding, and learning from you.
Whether we are offering comprehensive design services or collaborating with your design professional, we bring an unparalleled depth of knowledge and commitment to every project.

Step 3 - Professional Service Agreement

Before progressing to the Contract phase of construction, we ensure that all your questions are addressed, preparing for a smooth transition through a well-defined plan. Estimating the cost of your project isn't a straightforward task, as it involves numerous variables unique to each project. To ensure accuracy and transparency, we engage in a pre-construction process known as the PSA (professional service agreement). This agreement covers the creation of an accurate budget for your project. At this stage, specs and selections are reviewed and agreed upon. If other designers such as interior decorators and lighting designers will be working with us they are brought in, in addition to working with our subcontractors to provide estimates and timelines for their work.

This process empowers homeowners with greater project control upfront. At the end of this we’ll provide you with access to our interactive construction accounting software, where you can see each budget line item, sub-contractor quotes, specs and selections, along with our margins.

Step 4 - Project Development

Now that the PSA is complete and we’ve completed all discovery, it’s time to sit down and look over the estimate and compare it to the budget. Transparency is a top priority as we desire for you to be completely informed at all times and especially right now. This is a great time for you to ask questions about what we have found. We will go over a ‘scope of work’ that we have put together, which explains the project in sequential terms. The scope of work breaks down the work areas, challenges, and opportunities the project holds. We will present you with our schedule, or time line of the project. Also, it is important now to determine a start date, and a projected date of completion.

Step 5 - Construction Agreement

By now, we have all the information needed to fill out the Contract, including Home Construction. All questions up to this point will have been answered, all materials have been agreed to. We will present the Contract for signature by you and a representative of our company. We will answer any questions you have about the Contract at this time.

Step 6 - Project Management

During the building phase we will handle all the details of ordering materials, scheduling, oversight and coordination. Concurrently we will diligently keep you up to date on progress and issues. Your Project Manager will be your primary point of contact. Besides our staff, we will have specialty subcontractors on the job. We have worked with these firms repeatedly over the years and we find them both professional and trustworthy. They are fully licensed and insured. Treating both you and your property with respect is paramount to our relationship with these companies.

Step 7 - Navigating In-Process Changes

Throughout the project, you may find the need to adjust or add items to the initial plan, despite our thorough planning together. This is quite common as not every possibility can be anticipated on paper. Rest assured, we're equipped and willing to accommodate any desired changes. Our Agreement outlines how costs related to these changes will be managed, along with the additional production days they may require.

Step 8 - Project Completion

As we approach the project's completion, we devote to craft a thorough walkthrough with you to ensure all systems meet your objectives. Following a final cleaning and removal of tools and materials, we provide you with a comprehensive resource containing warranties and instruction manuals for your new appliances, along with inspection copies for your records. We'll address any operational questions you have regarding your new equipment and leave behind a 'Punch List' for any minor adjustments you may require in the future. For your peace of mind, our work comes with a standard 1 Year Warranty, so don't hesitate to reach out with any concerns for prompt resolution.
